With Valentine's Day right around the corner I'm sure a lot of you have already added decor to your home! I know I have, lol!
For those who haven't yet put up any decor or need ideas keep reading! I'll show you some really great ideas that are easy to do!
I love using apothecary jars as decor accents. You can fill these jars with candy or confetti to add a pop of color and fun! Add flowers and other fun treats like macarons on a pretty platter or stand to complete the look! Did you happen to notice the little houses? Those cute little ceramic houses can be used all year round and not just for Christmas ;-)
For a more "ooh la la" setting you can spread rose petals on your bed and add candles around the bedroom to create dramatic and romantic ambiance and an unforgettable night! I love how beautiful garland was added to this canopy bed. So romantic and dreamy!
Mantels should not be neglected and are very easy to add decor to! Drape festive garland across your mantel, add vases, jars or any other accents to create a festive look! You can make this as simple or dramatic as you'd like!
Another fun way to add decor to your kitchen is to style your coffee bar area or any other area in your kitchen. This is one of my favorite areas to add decor, and if you have shelving, like in this picture below, you can really get creative! As most of you know I collect Rae Dunn items and display them all year round in my kitchen. This Rae Dunn display is creative and very festive and works well in this small space!
Adding any amount of decor to your space for Valentine's Day, be it a simple vase with pink and red flowers to a full on display complete with Rae Dunn items and colorful wooden signs, decorating for this holiday will prove to be a treat!
