It's that time of year again to get out and enjoy the outdoors!  It's okay if you don't have a large backyard, especially if you live in an apartment or condo.

There are many ways to enhance your patio space, regardless of size, so you can enjoy those Summer days and nights.  Let me show you how!

If you have a nice size patio space like in the cover photo, you can use large sectionals and ottomans to create a great entertaining space.  The oversized ottomans can be used for seating and dining.  I love multi-functional furnishings!  You can also string some outdoor lights along the edges to create night time enbiance.

S T R I P E S!  These small patio spaces look and feel a lot bigger than they are.  Using an outdoor rug with vertical stripes on a horizontal patio gives the illusion of a larger space.  Incorporating appropriate sized furnishings makes the space more functional.  Geometric prints and patterns in your accessories add layers of texture!

Adding greenery to your patio will incorporate texture and color.  Doing this will give the feeling of a true outdoor oasis!  Don't forget about those outdoor lights!  Stringing outdoor lights gives such a nice ambience to your patio when you entertain in the evenings or if you just want to enjoy your outdoor oasis in the evenings.  You can use LED or solar lights for that warm glow effect.  Also, purchase a few extra replacement bulbs if offered. ;-)
