High Point Market Highlights!
Once again, High Point Market (HPMKT) did not disappoint! This Spring's market was full of gorgeous furnishings, fixtures and textiles!
HPMKT happens twice a year (April and October) and showcases over 2,000 vendors from all over the world! Thousands of designers, buyers, media, and even some TV celebrities all converge in this area for several days to scope out the latest trends in home furnishings, mix and mingle and network!! I scoped out some of my favorite vendors, met some new vendors, AND you'll never guess who I got to meet!!! :-)
Eloquence is one of my favorite vendors, if not my absolute favorite! This year the owner had two huge shipments of antiques straight from France in his showroom and the pieces were absolutely gorgeous! Needless to say those vintage finds got snatched up very quickly during a preview event that I unfortunately arrived one day too late for. I did however take a few pics of some beautiful vignettes!
Corey Damen Jenkins is one of my favorite designers! He won a showhouse competition on HGTV and has gone on to establish his business and brand by designing a furniture line for Leathercraft and now he has teamed up with Hudson Valley Lighting and created a lighting fixture line for them! I love his honest talk and unique approach to design. Here are a couple of his gorgeous pieces!
I came across two new vendors, TOV furniture and Koket! Very fresh, sexy and fun! This year velvet has been a HUGE trend in design and with gold or acrylic accents to top it off. Rich jewel toned colors with polished brass finishes add major wow factor! Just look at this delicious velvety green curved sofa from Koket below........Can you say SEXY!!!!
TOV furniture brings a fun, flirty and very girly vibe to their furnishings! I loved spending time in their cozy showroom and fell in love with so many of their pieces! Check out the fun turquoise sofa, the gorgeous cream sofa and the bed, all in velvet and delish!!
I saved the best for last!! I got to meet Johnathan and Drew Scott, aka The Property Brothers from HGTV......eeeekk!! They are super nice (and fine!!) and have a new furniture line out called Scott Living and they were doing a "meet and greet"! I was a VERY happy girl that day, LOL!!
