French Range Love

Whether you're renovating a kitchen or building a new home, selecting appliances is a major decision, just like selecting the flooring, cabinetry, counter tops and hardware. 

La Cornue has created some of the most beautiful ranges and hoods and I'm about to gush while telling you all about this luxury French company!

La Cornue was started in 1908 by Albert Dupuy in Paris.  He designed the first convection oven in the world.  Dupuy came up with the name La Cornue from the French word cornue "a system for refining the gas that warmed the new creation".  You can read more about Dupuy and his story in detail on www.lacornueusa.com/our-story. Fast forward over 100 years later and these beautiful ranges are still just as incredible and the designs always evolving.

​The cover photo is a fabulous collaboration between La Cornue and famed designer Suzanne Kasler.  This range is called Liberte and is part of the Couleur Collection! ​Another beauty below is the Le Chateau 150 in Teal with coordinating hood.  This is La Cornue's most popular Chateau range and definitely for the serious chef!  The design and symmetry of this master range is phenomenal!  Very functional and well suited for large amounts of cooking and baking.  Are you in love yet? 

​Are you ready for more eye candy? This beauty in blue below is the CornuFe 110.  This 43 inch range is the perfect size every day cooking and baking for the average size family.  She has 5 gas burners, 2 electric convection ovens and comes in 8 classic colors and 4 Suzanne Kasler Couleurs! Did you see that hood though? Really ornate and très chic!
