Fabulous Finds at The High Point Market!

4/30/2017

The High Point Market is the largest home furnishings industry trade show in the world that happens twice a year!  Interior designers and buyers come from all over, including internationally, just to see and shop for the latest styles in home furnishings!

Can you imagine having over 2,000 (yes.....over 2,000) vendors to visit?!  These vendors showcase their latest and greatest furniture, lighting, wallcovering and textile creations for designers and buyers to ooooh and aaaah over.  Okay, so I didn't get the chance to go visit all of these vendors, but keep reading to see exactly which ones I visited and the eye candy they displayed!  You're gonna love this!!! =)
As you all know, I am a lover of all things French.  So I just had to stop by two of my favorite French furniture showrooms, Eloquence and Ave Home, to meet up with their reps and see their latest designs.  Caution:  ooooh and aaaah moments ahead!!!

Pictured above is the Regent Settee from Ave Home.  This gorgeous settee gives a beautiful nod to the Louis XV style, with its detailed floral carvings, "S" shaped cabriole legs, gold gilded trimming, and can be customized!  Can you say fabulous!!

OMG....below is one of my favorite pieces from Ave Home.  The Regent Trumeau Mirror! This beauty is grand and trimmed in gorgeous gold gilding with detailed rosettes.  The mirror is finished in a blueish gray paint and is Neoclassical in design.  Oooh la la!!!!  The console table and bench are new to the collection and won't be available until later in the year.

This entire bedroom collection below from my absolute favorite French furniture company, Eloquence, is jaw dropping!  This collection is on my wish list, and this picture doesn't even do it justice!  The Sophia is the name of this majestic bed.  She has a tufted headboard and footboard, dressed in Linen upholstery and finished in two tone gold/taupe.  This bed is crafted in the Louis XV Corbeille style.  The nightstands are called The Roma Commode and they come in the same two tone gold/taupe finish.  There are other finishes as well that both the bed and the commodes are offered in.  It was great meeting the reps again that I work with, and I finally met one of the owners.  The entire Eloquence team are wonderful people and such a pleasure to work with!  Is anyone else drooling over this right now??

I know I spent at least an hour (okay, maybe 2 hours...lol) in Eloquence and I wanted to just move right into their two-story showroom.  When you walk into their showroom your eyes get as big as dinner plates and all you can say in O.M.G.....yes, it's that beautiful!  As you start to ascend the stairs to the second floor, the image below is what you're greeted with........Yes I know.....I had to pause a moment and just look at the beauty of it all before I climbed those stairs.....

Eloquence is known for their dramatic beds, and this one does not disappoint.  Below is the Aria canopy bed and she's a beauty!  Full of drama and romance, with a lovely bench at the foot of the bed.  The bench is called the Mademoiselle and it's finished in a distressed gold with Linen upholstery.

These are just a few pics (I took so many that I could not post them all!) from two of my favorite French furniture companies.  Ave Home and Eloquence have so, so much more in their repertoire.  If you are interested in any of the pieces I've shown here, or want information on these two companies and their products, please send me an email or comment below! =)

If you are in search of a perfect furniture for your house and you are willing to spend an ample amount of money, you can go directly to High Point Market! Though that market place is known for expensive furnitures, there are still great finds there that can be within your budget. Perhaps, you might want to wait for a sale or the items that have been displayed there for a long time! By the way, the style of the bed you had there was quite impressive, its serenity makes me calm even more!
