Can you believe Summer is almost over! It came and went just like my birthday a week ago. Now I'm on pumpkin spice overload! Fall is my favorite season so I've been itching to pack away my Summer decor and start making my house look and smell like it should be in Vermont, LOL!
When transitioning in between Summer and Fall I love to incorporate neutrals. Here are some great ideas on styling with neutral accessories that won't make the season change hard.
In the cover photo is a lovely blend of textures and shapes by using varying sizes of pumpkins and other accessories to create a beautiful coffee table setting. Simple and easy right!
Below is a gorgeous fireplace mantel styled with pumpkins, lanterns and Fall florals. Symmetry at its best that creates a visually stunning focal point!
More pumpkins, lol...I love it! Get creative with them and add greenery to make this beautiful tablescape! Also use other accessories like stands or pedestals to create varying height with your pumpkins as it adds dimension to the table.
Add some Fall to your bedroom by using soft creamy neutrals. Blankets, bedding pillows and accessories in soft whites or beige mixed with weathered grays creates a serene feeling in this space.
These tips to adding soft neutrals in your home as an introduction to Fall are quick and easy to do. It doesn't take much and it won't break your bank either when you shop savvy for these items!
Stay tuned to my next blog post where I'll go a little more in depth about Fall decor and color and the best places to shop!!

Well, I love neutral colors in the first place. Perhaps, I am the type of person who prefers simplicity over the colorful ones. Contrary to how people see summer season, I prefer putting neutral colored designs on it. I guess, it would be too much if I'll demand for such thing, isn't it? Last summer season, I've used different colors already since it was the request of my daughter. But this year, I prefer to settle with simple yet striking ideas using neutral colors. Hopefully, it's going to work on my favor!
