Chic Coastal Charm
I don't know about you all, but I'm ready for the Summer! With the unprecedented times we're all facing across the world I think it safe to say we're all wanting to get back out there and travel!
I have relaxing by the beach on my brain and thought if I can't get to the beach then why not bring the beach to me, right?! If you're in the same boat then keep reading about how to bring that coastal charm into your home!
I absolutely love the coastal design in the bedroom decor in the cover photo. It's a beautiful combination of aqua/teal, tans and whites, and varying textures and patterns in the bedding and accessories. All neutral colors that create a relaxing retreat. It would be very easy to fall fast asleep in this space!
The living room below is a crisp and cool palette of whites, tans and navy blues. Large open and airy space that reminds me of the deep blue sea. Gorgeous mix of textures that create a harmonious flow with the different patterns. This space plan allows for plenty of seating for gathering.
This kitchen though! The use of Navy for cabinetry is trending as it is the color the year for 2020! Do not be afraid to add color! Kitchens are not meant to be boring and this is where everyone normally gathers, so give people something to talk about!
Coastal charm is simple to incorporate into your home. You don't have to go out and buy new furniture to achieve the look, unless you want to, lol! Add ocean/coastal themed accessories such as glass jars or vases, accent pillows, rugs and throws, baskets, artwork and greenery. It's really that easy and budget friendly!
